preset prompt like monica on selecting text

When I select text on a webpage, can’t a small Merlin window pop up right there so I can choose from pre-set ... prompts and handle tasks on the spot? For example, with Monica, when I select text on a webpage, I can run a prompt with a simple mouse click right there. It’s nice to do things from the right side, but for simple tasks, this way is much faster and more convenient.

endu Does this mean that we will be able to use Merlin directly in Google Docs?

Got it Mario, given this is a general purpose feature. Do you want it to be always "ON" on google docs, or all sites or a toggle? Or if there are other places you would like this.
Mario Buonvino
Always on, on all the sites where you can write.

Mario Buonvino: Got it Mario. We have explored this, but the major issue that we face is that most users don't want it and having it default ON will lead to issues there. whereas if its ON only on a toggle inside then most users will not use it. Do you have any thoughts related to this? Thanks again!

Siddhartha the activation of the small pop up could be set as off by default and activated by vhi if you want it. Otherwise I would still like to be able to highlight the text in Google Docs, open the Merlin sidebar and automatically find the highlighted text as a context on which to then apply the saved prompts. This way I could still quickly expand, reduce and simplify the text.
Thank you!
