Whats the current state of this? We're waiting like forever for this just go get into planned. All we need first is something like the extension just as a native app. No need for all the fancy features yet.

but it would be great to make a dedicated Desktop App with additional features

In the Merlin app, it's not necessary to replicate all the functions, just create a handy toolbox :)

Łukasz Kozłowski I must say I expected a bit more from Pismo. Bought the AppSumo LTD and it seems like they don't really put much resources into dev and making it better. No better models to pick which is a shame as I kinda always abuse it for general questions rather than translating :D

C Y agree. Very simple app. Not very sophisticated but as a writing companion works nice but as an AI assistant it wont work. I use it in a very redundant way with my predefined prompt. Big PRO for being a native app.

Could you please take the initiative to develop a desktop app, with feature similar to the one found at https://innerai.com/? It would be great to include a meeting recording feature that allows for local recording, along with the capability to create transcripts, summaries, and key takeaways. Ideally, this should function like the YouTube panel extension for that feature. Then Project can have FAR more context added to them if we can store Project context file locally!!!!! Thank you!

really need a desktop app. I just want the global shortcut Option + Space. I even subscribed to ChatGPT Plus just for this shortcut. A desktop app and a shortcut change everything.
