Brand guidelines/kit + more social platform native integrations like LinkedIn & YT
planned

It would be nice if we could have brand guidelines, brand literature, etc which can be used in select prompt scenarios. My main use case for this is to use in responding on social media, which is why my additional request to this, is to add more social platform integrations like you have LinkedIn & YT already. Reddit, Quora, FB would be my use cases, but maybe others may have additional platform requests. Right now this can be achieved with a saved prompt (brand guidelines) and copying the post on quora/reddit using the saved prompt to generate a contextual reply. Similar native integration like LinkedIn would be really lovely!
Also, the brand kit could be used in select other scenarios, like when we are chatting with AI, then it can refer our internal content as well as external. Maybe a toggle like how you currently have for "merlin magic" / "live search" you could have "use brand kit/voice"

Hey Badal J and Sam Leon you can already create a bot for your brand. We are making a major revamp on the bot making process which will make it more easier to incorporate brand key words.
On the other hand we will let you use bots on our extension any social media
You can have a look into it - https://www.tella.tv/video/bot-as-brand-1-14p4
Here is the flow video for you. Let us know does it feel intuitive in your usecase.

Merlin awesome. You guys are the best. Very responsive. Glad Im on board
Badal J
Hi guys,
That was super-responsive on your part. Kudos!!
Yes, I am aware of the bot functionality (I am surprised that isn't more prominently featured in your list of features, as I think that is a superpower that most could use). I have asked my team to use it in a similar manner to how you have mentioned.
We create a bot and input the post that we want to reply to, along with how we want the response with an internal code and ask the bot to return an output in our brand voice and in the format of the internal code which is pre-defined (else we would need to create multiple bots for each kind of response). The native integration for the other platforms, like how you have with LinkedIn could have done the trick for this. I suppose a brand guide/ brand voice may not necessarily be featuring in your vision of merlin, so I understand if you are not looking at doing this.
It would also be nice if you could enable haiku/sonnet for the created bots.
Looking forward to your enhanced bot offering!

Badal J: Yes actually we will make bots model agnostic and more powerful. It's already in the development. Hope you will like the next version.

Yes, the flow looks intuitive enough, but unable to make out all the features in the 10 sec clip. Will await your beta and would probably be able to give some feedback when I use it.
For example, when responding on social media sites like Quora, Reddit, LinkedIn, it seems to be very important to talk in the 1st person and narrate the response as a story (in our case, a case study) which addresses the question thread. These kinds of responses, seem to get the maximum upvotes/views. So we may want the bot to refer to one of our specific case study (either from our website or a pdf upload) to write a specific response in the 1st person, as though narrating a story from our experience of having solved that problem. You may have probably already factored these kinds of features in your bot, so I'll wait until you have the new version launched to provide feedback.

endu any possibility of incorporating a brand keyword monitoring tool on social media ? Eg....if someone mentions " Merlin " on Reddit.....we get notified ?
endu
Sam Leon: There are already existing tools that solves for this pls give them a try if they don't solve your issues do let me know
Sam Leon
endu thanks . Very helpful.
Badal J
Hi Endu,
Yes, I am aware of these kind of tools. I was just looking to get my team to create engagement on Quora & Reddit with AI assisted responses and not really actively monitor those like how these tools are offering.
Badal J
endu Not looking for anything ground-breaking. Just the simple native integration on other social media platforms like Quora/Reddit/FB, exactly how you have for linkedin and X.
