Please don't be cute and change the input and output text to gray. It's hard for ACCESSIBILITY users and doesn't provide enough contrast. Whoever approved your UI/UX color to gray font and gray background should go to accessibility school So not cute and modern...

Vijay Bharadwaj Gray font on gray background? Low contrast. UI/UX for accessibility? At least provide options for accessibility users or allow users to pick their font color to help with contrast.

Black text for high contrast for accessility folks is better... or at least provide an option the gray text is not cool.
