This report details two distinct problems across different versions of the extension on my primary work device, compared to a fully functional setup on a secondary device.

Problem Description: When using the Merlin AI extension's commenting feature on LinkedIn posts with version 7.5.24, the prompt incorrectly displays "@someone" instead of the actual LinkedIn post author's name. This prevents the extension from accurately referencing or addressing the author in comments, which severely impacts its utility. Aside from this specific bug, the extension otherwise appears to connect and function on LinkedIn.
Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Ensure Merlin AI Chrome Extension v7.5.24 is active.
  2. Navigate to any LinkedIn post that has a discernible author.
  3. Attempt to use the Merlin AI extension to generate a comment.
  4. Observe that the author's name is replaced by "@someone" in the generated prompt or output.

2. Secondary Issue: Connection Failure for Version 7.5.10 on Primary Device

• Problem Description: To circumvent the bug in v7.5.24, I attempted to downgrade and install version 7.5.10 on my primary device. While the extension installs successfully without any reported errors, it completely fails to connect or function on LinkedIn. Its features do not activate, and it appears as if the extension isn't recognizing the LinkedIn page at all.
Crucially, version 7.5.10 works perfectly without any issues on my secondary device.
