Notes or Scratch Pad

A feature where fleeting thoughts and ideas can quickly and easily be dumped or deposited within Merlin rather than in some external app for easy future reference and or access. This could be a whiteboard or canvas that accepts post-it-notes as well as text.
Something like OneNote, where a user can click anywhere and capture thoughts right away without being impeded by the need to create or open a new document and then have to save afterwards.

Dee Kobina Absolutely fascinating!
We're thinking about adding a "save to Merlin" feature where you can maybe dump anything from browser but ....really curious—how do you plan to use your scribbles in Merlin? What makes it important for you to store your fleeting thoughts in Merlin's space? Would love to hear your thoughts!

endu hey, I really appreciate you reaching out. You guys are really in the loop... Big thumbs up to the team!!
Ok, now my response to your question:
Have you noticed how ideas flood in when you're in a flow state? For instance, while constructing a prompt for an immediate task, another prompt (or idea) leaches in. So now you have to hurriedly open an external note pad app or grab a physical pencil and pad so you don't lose that thought.
If there was a feature for capturing these fleeting thoughts and ideas right within Merlin, then when I am ready to use those ideas I don't have to go to a third-party app to find it or worse still, now have to capture it digitally from a physical pad.
I simply go to the scratchpad in Merlin, copy and paste or edit if need be and use right within the same Merlin ecosystem. This would really streamline one's workflow, wouldn't?
The feature could probably fit nicely with the "save to Merlin" concept you mentioned above. Maybe, a "save to Merlin Pad / Merlin Scratches".
There could be a floating icon wherever text is entered in Merlin or even when a cursor is hovered around paragraphs (content) generated by Merlin. So that besides grabbing browser-finds, as one pours through what has been generated by Merlin, you can actually capture your thoughts, reactions or comments, etc. besides specific paragraphs and incorporate them in follow-up requests to Merlin.
And now I am wondering if a highlighter feature wouldn't complement "save to Merlin / Merlin Scratches" as well... 😅
