The plugin has not been working. What is the alternative?

it has stop working for me for about 2weeks now. one of the most important features in Merlin imo it keeps me using it.

Swapnil Gusani: Fix will be live tomorrow, although it broke due to a change from Youtube's end, so progressively it is becoming harder to extract subtitles. So we are not sure about the longevity of this feature.

I use this feature extensively. Is it possible to open-source this plugin then? Community can actively fix this.

Siddhartha Can we use youtube MCP server to solve this long term? It has th functions to get captions.

Siddhartha has the fix been pushed through? I've used on Brave and Chrome both is not working.

Swapnil Gusani: It uses youtube API, which has very low limits, so this does not work at scale.
