I had raised this issue months ago. What is the ETA for this?
S
Siddhartha
Swapnil Gusani Hey Swapnil! I'll get back to you with the ETA for this today itself. Sorry for the delay. We'll add it directly on getmerlin.in/magic
Swapnil Gusani
Siddhartha Hi, did you get an ETA for this?
S
Siddhartha
Swapnil Gusani: Yes Swapnil, it will be pushed by Thursday.
S
Siddhartha
Hey Swapnil Gusani, sorry it has been pushed a bit more. The person building got sick but we are working in this itself and push this ASAP.
Swapnil Gusani
Siddhartha Will this be only released in new UI?
S
Siddhartha
Swapnil Gusani Yes Swapnil, its live in the new UI, though we need to do some prompt changes so that its rendered correctly. Regardless, you can actually prompt on your end and things should work fine too.
Swapnil Gusani
Siddhartha I have the latest extension, I still cannot get formulas rendered properly. What changes in prompt are needed?
I can also see this problem is only with GPT models.
S
Siddhartha
Swapnil Gusani Hey Swapnil, please test them out on getmerlin.in/magic now. You should not need putting in any prompt with GPT based models at least.
Swapnil Gusani
Siddhartha It is working. Thanks a lot.
Swapnil Gusani
Siddhartha There is still some edge case where this is failing partially.
S
Siddhartha
Swapnil Gusani: Hey Swapnil, I tested this one and the problem here is that GPT generated the wrong latext syntax. Actually as "$" is a special character, it should have generated it with an escape character "\". So in this case maybe you can ask it to use the correct latex syntax and it might do. Also it might not happen with anything other than equations that have "$".
