I am loosing prompt when I come back to the tab. It has becoming very annoying. After typing and pressing enter, the rendering page refreshes and goes back to old state. After that it starts working normally.

yep, today I have one reply per question no more prompt afterwards (only on the web the ios apps works...)

It also happens to me in Chrome and sometimes, more rarely, in Safari. It happens to me in a chat, after several interactions, without warning, after I send a new prompt.

Ok, I just lost a whole chat. And it wasn't a very long chat. Fortunately I have learned to copy and paste everything into my own text files. Here's what happened. I was entering a prompt on a chat that I hadn't touched since yesterday. After entering the prompt the window was just stuck spinning for quite a while. So I hit ESC to break out of it. I went to the home page, then drilled back down into my project and my whole chat that I'd been working on for a couple of days was gone.

Michael Wilford Can you please share additional details about the issue like screenshots or recordings and the chatId for the chat you were having issues with... The chat should not break in such a case. You can send these details at support@getmerlin.in
We are looking into it but some additional information will help us detect and tackle potential issues faster.

Priyanshu There was no error message. I escaped the spinner that appears while you're waiting for the ai processor. No error. I went out of the chat to the home page. Back into projects, into the project I was working in. No more "Chapter 8" chat. No error messages, just an absence of the most recent chat. I save every bit of chat in txt files now.
Priyanshu
Michael Wilford Got it can you try regenerating your latest message? When you press ESC the generation stops and if there was no response received form the llm model until esc was pressed we dump empty data. Hence the absence of latest message/chat.
Michael Wilford
Priyanshu Are you saying if I ESC an ai generation, then the entire chat conversation for 2 days is supposed to be deleted?
Priyanshu
Michael Wilford No not the whole history but the latest ai message would be empty like this
Are you losing the whole conversation after pressing esc? Can you please share a screen shot if possible?
Michael Wilford
Priyanshu Yes, I lost the whole conversation. I have a screen shot of the project chats and between Chapter 7 and Chapter 9 there was a Chapter 8 chat that is completely gone.
Priyanshu
Michael Wilford Can you confirm if the chat is present in the normal history and not the project history? In the meantime I'll take a look to see what might have gone wrong
Michael Wilford
Priyanshu I didn't think of looking in my normal history but the chat conversation is there. Although it did lose some of the last part of the chat. I copied it originally so not a problem. But it's nice finding most of the chat.

This happens to me every time I leave the chat for a few hours. So I've learned to always write my prompts in a text file and copy and paste. This just happened to me again, but with a twist. The chat lost a whole section of prompts and replies when it refreshed this time. I've gone in and out of the chat, still the same. Fortunately I have had this happen before so I copy and paste every ai response if I want to keep the material. I think it may be related to my chats being too long. Both times I've lost ai content I think the chats were very long. I try to start new chats every once in a while, but sometimes I want to continue with the chapter I'm working on. This is a very bad problem for your system.

This happens to me often due to cloudflare, but what has worked for me is to close the tab and reopen it.
